Similar to UK, no freedom of panorama for "graphic works" in Ireland A1Cafel (talk) 06:02, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

FOP notes that this applies for a "specified period". The image in question is over 11-years-old. Is there any evidence FOP lasts this long in this country? Helper201 (talk) 00:55, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The key point is how long copyright lasts. Since there is no freedom of panorama for graphic works in Ireland, images of them cannot be distributed for profit until the copyright on them runs out. Read COM:FOP Ireland and Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Ireland#General rules. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:28, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In no way is this image distributed for profit. Helper201 (talk) 02:45, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Read the links again. Commons images have to be licensed in a way that allows commercial use, at least as far as copyright is concerned. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:30, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
